Arts Newboro (formerly known as DharmaNectar Studio), has become a non-profit organization for the promotion of the arts in Newboro, Rideau Lakes Region, Ontario. Plans for a studio are in development and thus fundraising efforts continue. Cultural activities, such as the Dinner Theatre, are a way of getting to know the community and initiating a presence.

In the future, trained yoga instructor and artist, Deborah Goudreau, will offer yoga classes from the perspective of promoting individual wellness. The art studio will offer pottery and art classes and workshops on various themes.

Last year's first dinner theatre event, Shirley Valentine, was a big success! Here's what people had to say about it:

This year, Arts Newboro will be presenting the play Love Letters by A. R. Gurney. A Broadway hit, it is a poignant and humorous look at the relationship between two close friends, Andy, the dutiful lawyer, and Melissa, the unstable artist. It relates the moving story of their bittersweet relationship with its twists, turns and complexities. This beautiful play is sure to touch the hearts of everyone who comes to see it.
